On September 23^rd, Prof. Seyed Zia Hashemi, Acting Minister of Science, Research and Technology met with Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani at the Academy.

In this meeting, Prof. Hashemi honored Prof. Davari Ardakani as one of the prestigious scholars in the field of human sciences. Then they exchanged views on using the potential and capacity of human sciences to promote the efficiency of other areas of science.

Afterwards, Prof. Hashemi met with Prof. Parviz Jabehdar Maralani, fellow of the Academy at his home. He stated that the aim of his visit was to honor the high status of teachers and appreciate Prof. Jabehdar Maralani for his lifelong efforts in teaching and research at the University of Tehran. Prof. Jabehdar Maralani in turn thanked Prof. Hashemi and then referred to his 40^th years of service in the field of higher education for the benefit of the people of his country.
