The Division of Biological Sciences of the Department of Basic Sciences of the Academy held a seminar on the "Foresight in Biosciences" on July 19^th.

The seminar began with the welcoming address of Prof. Hassan Ebrahimzadeh Maabood. He stated that holding such meetings in the future are important for the analysis of foresight in biosciences and presenting policy strategies to macro policymakers of the country.  

Then, the following lectures were delivered:

Contemporary Science, Prof. Yaghoub Fathollahi, Faculty Member, Tarbiat Modares University

Future of Biosciences, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Seyyedi, Faculty Member, National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology

The seminar continued with a discussion on the "Application of Foresight Science in Iran Biosciences".
