On Sunday, December 3rd, the Research Council of the Academy had its 198th meeting.

The attendees included Profs. Hassan Ahmadi, Gholamreza Aavani, Hassan Tajbakhsh, Parviz Jabehdar Maralani, Faramarz Rafipoor, Mohammad Shahedi, Mohammad Mehdi Sheikh-Jabbari and Hossein Namazi.

At first, the Council approved the research project proposal on the "Analysis and Classification of the Defended Architecture PhD Theses at the Top Universities of the World". After making the amendments, the Research Council agreed to submit the proposal to the Scientific Council for approval.

Then the following items were either approved or decided upon:

- Final report of the research project on the "Studies on the Issues and Problems of Greenhouses and Greenhouse Products in Iran"
- The research project proposal on "Religion in the Future World"
- Standard publication of the Academy's periodicals
- The content of the second meeting of the assessment committee of the Strategic Research Journal in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources
At the end of the meeting, the conclusions of the seminars and symposia of the Department of Basic Sciences of the Academy in the past five years were set forth and the Council encouraged the other departments of the Academy to do the same and submit the results of their symposia to the Council.
