The 474th meeting of the Scientific Council of the Academy was held on October 15th.

Following the approval of the previous meeting's minutes, the council discussed and adopted the following items:

- The extension of the membership of 12 associate fellows of the Department of Basic Sciences of the Academy for a further four-year term and passing it to the General Assembly for final approval
- The final report of the accomplished research project on "Future Studies on the Efficient and Desirable Role of the Academy in the Science and Technology System"

In this meeting, Mr. Mehdi Ahmadpour, director of finance of the Academy, gave a report on the status of the allocated budget to the Academy in the first half of the current year.
