The Center for Science and Technology Studies has four Study Groups. Chairmen of the groups are appointed by the proposal of the Center's rector and the written order of the president of the Academy for two years.

Socio-Economic Study Group of the Center

Chairman: Prof. Abbas Shakeri, professor of Economics, Allameh Tabatabai University, and associate fellow of the Academy

Futures Studies Group of Science and Technology

Chairman: Prof. Fathollah Moztarzadeh, professor of Materials Science, Amirkabir University of Technology, and fellow of the Academy     

Interdisciplinaries and New Sciences and Technologies Study Group

Chairman: Prof. Bagher Larijani, professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute and fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences

Strategic Study Group of Science and Technology

Chairman: Dr. Abbas Manoochehri, professor of Political Sciences, Tarbiat Modares University
