On November 13^th, 2019, the Division of Fishery, Department of Agricultural Sciences of the Academy, hosted a seminar on “New Aquaculture Systems; Challenges and Strategies”.

In the seminar, four lectures were delivered on the theme. Then the speakers, a number of the Academy’s members, faculty members of the universities, experts and researchers in aquaculture and natural resources, and authorities of fisheries section held a round-table. While emphasizing on responsible aquaculture and more and better observance of the principles of sustainable development based on the up-to-date knowledge, the attendees expressed their recommendations to be presented to activists, stakeholders, managers and authorities in the field of fisheries.
