Prof. Jerzy Duszynski, president of the Polish Academy of Sciences, met with Prof. Reza Davari Ardakani and other authorities of the Academy on April 29.

 

 

In this meeting in which the secretary, chairmen of the scientific departments and a number of the members of the Academy were present, Prof. Davari Ardakani welcomed the guests and talked about the history of cooperation between the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of IR Iran, the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two academies in 2005 and the necessity to update and amend it.

 

Then Prof. Duszynski thanked the host and introduced the Polish Academy of Sciences. He also stated that their academy has numerous scientific institutions and researchers who are active in a wide variety of scientific disciplines. He further appreciated the Iranian people for supporting the Polish refugees during the Word War II.

 

Finally, Prof. Duszynski answered the questions posed by Prof. Seyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Damad and Prof. Saeed Sohrabpour on the Polish Academy of Sciences' activities. He, in turn, raised a few questions that were responded by the president and other authorities of the Academy.
